Join us and celebrate 11 years of running and walking for mental health!
Sunday, May 3, 2015 from 8am to noon at scenic FDR State Park in Yorktown Heights, New York!
Our 5K Run/Walk & 1 Mile Kids’ Race offers the unique opportunity to come together as a community and take a stand for mental health. Whether you run or walk, your participation helps raise the money that makes our work possible. With the data now showing that 1 in 5 live with a mental health condition, more effective help and better resources are essential.
Join us and go the extra kilometer for mental health services. Give where you live!
For runners, it’s a 5K race timed by the Taconic Road runners with medals awarded to top male/female in each age category plus overall male and female.
For walkers, it’s a beautiful 5K walk in the park.
For kids under 10, it’s a 1-mile race with a special warm up and ribbons for all plus medals to the top three boys and girls.
For everyone, it’s a morning of fun and great spirit with healthy food, rollicking entertainment — plus a super raffle–all in support of the important cause of mental health in our community.
Every dollar raised unlocks new possibilities for the members of our community who experience mental health challenges.
