Running Routes

We are lucky to live in a part of the world with some amazing places to run.  Too often, however, we are blissfully unaware of an amazing route yet to be discovered.  Here are some great runs as well as measured courses used in training.  Should you have a route you’d like to share, please email us and we’ll get it on the site.  Ideally, send us a link to a map online, and we’ll include that as well.

  • 20 Miler from the pumphouse Here’s a great way to do a 20 miler from the pumphouse. Leave the lot, go east till you hit the bikepath on 118. Burn an hour in this out and back, and then do the teatown loop. Hills. Suffering. Miles. Perfection.
  • Katonah – Dirt Roads and Hills This is a 10 mile route supplied by our own Dr Stu. It is mostly on quiet dirt roads, but has some very challenging hills in the first half of the run. Reservoir view and a bird sanctuary along the way.
  • Katonah 20 Miler Starting at the parking area at the corners of Route 121 and Upper Hook Rd, this is a challenging 20 mile route through some beautiful countryside.
  • Nancy’s Loop This is a great route filled with some rolling hills and picturesque scenery. Starting from the Pumphouse, runners are rewarded with a demanding 11.5 mile loop.
