What a great day! The weather, fantastic! The Taconics, fantastic!

Andrew — one of our newest members — is our first finisher and crushed his race. We had a great group leading up to Joe Porcaro’s first place finish which was well deserved, and no surprise to those of us who have been training with him lately.  Tim Delaney, off a very frustrating period of injury, came in third, as did resident rockstar Karen Davies.  But as important as these great times, both in the front and the middle of the pack, is the camaraderie we’ve formed throughout the year.  The club went out for post-race refreshments, a cherished tradition.  Candidly, this yearly trip to the pub is the main reason Gregg Schroko stays in the club.

As we roll into the holidays it’s great to know we’re ending the year on this positive note.
