7/11 Speed Workout

This week is the club meeting and also the beer mile. In a major concession session to non-drinkers the race now allows participants to drink any 12 ounce carbonated beverage. Those of you who don’t drink soda either can drink seltzer water. You have to supply your own beverage (4 x 12 oz. cans).

If there is enough interest I can also have a speed work on the track at Yorktown HS. We would need to start promptly at 5:45 . Please let me know if you would want this otherwise the beer/soda mile will be the workout.

Back for another year. The beer mile is on July 11 (it’s during our monthly meeting!).. Come one, come all. We’re doing our beer mile a little differently by doing out and back quarters, because we could, er, never get a permit to do this on a track.
