This week’s workout will be held in Yorktown in conjunction with the monthly meeting and we’ll start at 5:30PM but I will stay a little later for those of you who can’t make it by 5:30. Here’s a map:
Park on the middle school side of the school property and the track is in the southwestern part of that school property. It can’t be seen easily until you get out of your car.
This one workout will give you a small edge for the upcoming team race the 5th Avenue Mile on Sept 13th. The workout is 4 x 400m (1 lap) with a full lap recovery and 4 x 200m with a half lap recovery. If you can repeat this workout on your own or with friends for the next two weekends it will significantly improve your mile time at the 5th Avenue Mile.
I could use help with giving the splits to 3 separate groups if you aren’t doing the workout but would like to participate.
