Awesome Sunday Running at the Fred Lebow Manhattan Half and the Boston Buildup 15k

Some great running out there on a cold day! While some of us were dealing with some ice and hills at the Boston Buildup, the team had a great showing in New York.

At the Boston Buildup, Mike Moccia — after some hesitation at the start due to the legitimate fear of cracking his head open — ran 3 x 21:00 5k for a great time of 63 minutes or so (official results aren’t up yet).

In New York, erstwhile president George Grenier was our first finisher a mind-numbingly repetitive course.  Cathleen Holden rocked her division finishing first.  Great times all around.  It is hard, even when writing in the third person, to not express disdain for that course.  Two loops of the park.  As if one wasn’t bad enough!  But great job everyone!

Ted took some great pictures of us finishing at the Boston Buildup. Eliot and George posted some pictures to facebook which we’ve stolen.   Keep running everyone.  Well, run tomorrow.  Tuesday there will be a blizzard.  So maybe take the day off.  Or not.
