Seventeen year old Emma Bradley won our Mother's D

Seventeen year old Emma Bradley won our Mother's Day 5K today in 18:39 - one of the fastest times run on this very difficult course. She received a signed copy of @des_linden inspiring new book, Choosing To Run.

Thanks to all the women who came out to run this morning’s race, the friends and family who supported them, and especially all the volunteers who made today’s Mother’s Day 5k happen. Results and LOTS of great photos can be found at runner.org.

Just a few hours left before registration prices i

Just a few hours left before registration prices increase for our Mother’s Day 5k and 2 mile walk…
The price is $25, with members getting a $10 discount, even on race day registration. Join TRR as a member here.
On May 1st, the price goes up $5 and then is $40 on race day.
Things to note:
-9AM Start, Mother’s Day May 14th.
-Females Only in the 5K
-The winner will receive a signed copy of Boston Marathon Des Linden’s new book “Choosing to Run: A Memoir”
-Boys are welcome in the walk.
-Shirts to first 225 participants
-Taconic wine glasses and Mimosas for adult finishers
-Gift Certificates to top three finishers in the 5k–$100, $75, $50
-Age Group awards for usual Taconic categories
-Race Day Registration is available but much cheaper to pre-register
-No dogs or baby joggers, strollers OK for the walk.
