We will try to find a date in the fall….
The annual Masters Challenge 5K will be held Sunday, September 27th at 8:30am at FDR park. This race pits Taconic vs Rockland Roadrunners, Run PB, Rivertown Runners and the Westchester Track Club. There are male and female scoring categories for 40+, 50+ and 60+ divisions. Food and beverage donations are welcome for the post-race celebration in the park.
This is a 40+, members only, free race. No pre-race sign-up is necessary.
We’ll see you there!
The race will most likely start and finish in parking lot 5, though check back close to the race to see if that is changed. Parts of the park will be off-limits for several months due to a secret happening the park wasn’t willing to share, but is pretty obvious if you know what happened in the past.
