Hi Folks,
Any thoughts/comments on Deb's message? My daughter and I were the 2 runners who used the regular second water stop and we could have easily used the end of the aqueduct instead.
If the majority of the regular Saturday runners would prefer the end of the aqueduct, we could try to change the location of the second stop at least for the next few months. It only takes a few minutes longer by car to drop the water there, and I would send directions. I'm fine with whatever the majority would prefer.

Hi Skip & Saturday Runners;
Setting the water at the end of the aqueduct went very well. Many runners seem to be running the aqueduct in the hot weather. On the other hand, only 2 runners seem to have used the drinks at the second water stop. Fran told us this was also the case last week.Maybe we should consider setting some drinks at the end of the aqueduct during the summer months either instead of or in addition to the second water stop. Also, with people training for fall marathons and running extra long, we definitely need at least 3 gallons of water at the first water stop.These are only suggestions for discussion.Stay Cool,DebOn Fri, Jul 12, 2013 at 07:51 AM, TRRC Water Schedule wrote:
Greetings Saturday runners,Here's the latest water schedule: Deb is our hydration honcho this Saturday.
You can sign up by sending an email to water@runner.org or by replying to this message. Recommended water quantities are listed below. Please don't retrieve water before 9:30.Reminder: We've had some problems with theft at the second water stop. Don't leave a valuable cooler there. A cardboard box is good enough.
Thanks, Skip
