The 6th Annual Erin Shanley Memorial 5K/1 Mile Race and Pancake Breakfast will be held this year on Sunday, August 16th at the Lion’s Club Pavilion in Pine Plains, NY. All proceeds from this event will be donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in memory of Erin Shanley to help in the fight against childhood cancer.
The registration entry fee is due by August 10th, but there will be race-day registration from 8:15-8:45 AM. Race start time will be 9:00 AM, and will begin at the Lion’s Club Pavilion in Pine Plains. There will also be a pancake breakfast following the races for an additional cost, with the funds once again helping the pediatric hospital.
The registration fee for the race is as followed:
5K: $10
1 Mile Race: $5
Breakfast: $5
Additional $10 for an Erin Shanley Memorial T-Shirt
(all t-shirt orders MUST be in by August 1st)
(Example: Registration for the 5K race, plus breakfast, and a t-shirt would be $25)
Millbrook Physical Therapy will also be providing participants with information regarding common running injuries, as well as preventative measures to help teach participants how to stay health all summer long.
Awards will be given to the top male/female finishers for both races.
