Joseph Handleman passed away on December 27, 2022 at his home at the age of 92. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Princeton University and earned an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business. His primary hobby was competitive running. Among his many races he completed 30 marathons and 14 ultramarathons (50K), finishing the last 50K at the age of 80. He is survived by his wife Susan of 69 years, his daughter Leslie Tannenbaum (Robert), sons Cary Handelman and Jeffrey Handelman, granddaughter Jennifer Tannenbaum and brother Donald Handelman. He was predeceased by his brother William Handelman.
