It’s national running day and for those who feel the need for speed the
workout is 4 x 1200m around the loop that starts 1/2 mile north on
Pocantico River Trail. It’s mostly downhill going out and mostly uphill
coming back. There are opportunities to practice downhill form and our
three quick strides after turns and at crests of hills.
The following week the workout will be at FDR Park at 5:45PM. I’ll get a
little map together for where we’ll start but it will be at the top of the
park near the base of the hill and the plan is for our 5 x 100 Secs. etc
workout. The club meeting will be right after with Captain Lawrence beer
plus other incidental refreshments.

Short speed up the meadow hill of 4 x 400m, 3 x 300m & 2 x 200m. The recovery will be the jog back down. This is a short but intense workout.
