Today we will do the pacing workout of 3 times, 3 minutes out and 3 minutes back, on the Pocantico River Trail. We start to the west of the meeting spot about 100 yards up the trail. The goal in this workout is to get back to the starting point without looking at you watch after turning back. The course is a gentle downhill going out so one has to pick up the effort level to get back to the start in the same amount of time. A secondary goal is to get slightly further on each one.Tonight is the monthly club meeting and a good opportunity to meet your fellow Taconics. The directions are at www.runner.org .
